About
We built the thing we wished existed.
We've run finance at our own companies. As CFOs and CPAs, we have sat in the chair — managing close, reviewing aging reports, trying to get a clean number to present to ownership or the board.
The problem we kept hitting wasn't analysis. It wasn't strategy. It was the data itself. The ERP had years of transactions in it, and most of it couldn't be trusted. Duplicate vendors. GL entries that didn't tie to the subledger. AR aging that disagreed with the trial balance by amounts nobody could explain.
The frustrating part wasn't even the mess — it was how long it took just to realize the data was the problem. You'd spend weeks trying to build something useful, wondering why the numbers didn't make sense, before eventually concluding that the source data was the issue all along. Then you'd spend more weeks trying to fix it. Manually. Spreadsheet by spreadsheet.
Every time we tried to adopt a better tool — a BI platform, a forecasting model, eventually an AI tool — we hit the same wall. The tool was ready. The data wasn't. And nobody was selling a solution to that specific problem. Everyone assumed the data was already clean.
It never is.
Data Rehab exists to skip that step for you. We go in, fix the data, certify it, and hand you a database you can actually use — for AI tools, for BI platforms, for a cleaner close, for anything downstream that requires numbers you trust. Then we get out of the way.
The data layer is almost always the problem.
Not the tool you're trying to use. Not the team running it. The data underneath. Fix that first and most downstream problems resolve themselves. Skip it and you'll be fighting the same battles six months from now with a different vendor.
Invoice on delivery — and why it matters
We don't invoice until the database is certified and in your hands. Not at kickoff. Not at milestones. When it's done and verifiable.
We do this because we've been on the other side of professional services engagements. We know what it feels like to pay upfront and then spend months wondering if you're going to get what you were promised. We don't want our clients in that position.
It also forces us to do good work. We can't declare victory and walk away. Quality gates have to pass. The certificate has to be earned. That accountability is built into the model on purpose.
Who we are
We are CPAs and CFOs who have worked across construction, professional services, distribution, and manufacturing. We have seen the data mess in its many forms and spent more hours than we'd like to admit cleaning it manually before we decided to build the right tool for the job.
The pipeline that powers Data Rehab was refined through real engagements, not a lab. It is not new technology — it is a proven process, systematized, with a clear deliverable and a price that reflects the value of the outcome, not the hours it takes us to get there.
We are not a software company. We are financial operators who built software to do this job properly. That distinction matters when you're deciding who you trust with your financial data.
This is a fit if...

- +You have years of ERP data and real reconciliation pain
- +Close takes longer than it should and you know why
- +You're trying to adopt AI tools but suspect your data isn't ready
- +You'd rather pay for a result than an hourly rate
Not a fit if...
- —Under $3M revenue with no ERP system
- —You want a BI dashboard or reporting tool
- —You want to 'experiment with AI' — not use it in production
- —There's no finance person who can act on what gets surfaced
- —You want to pay per hour with no defined outcome
